Give A Day, Get a Disney Day

Dear Friends,

We need your help! We are looking for volunteers and donated supplies to retrofit the house of a disabled veteran.

This year during our annual convention we will embrace South Dakota’s Operation Opening Doors charity work and expand the effort nationwide. South Dakota has had much success with Operation Opening Doors; they have installed wheelchair ramps, widened hallways and doors and enlarged bathrooms. We will continue their successful efforts during our visit to Orlando, Fla., for our annual convention.

The home renovation is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 16, 2009, before the convention meetings begin. We are asking for volunteers to participate and/or donate supplies and materials.

We are currently working with the local National Guard to identify a veteran in need and will forward all relevant information once the participant is chosen. With enough of your support, we hope to be able to renovate more than one home.
